ST. PAUL, Minn. – (August.10, 2017) – Governor Mark Dayton has authorized $522,388 in state disaster assistance to help Anoka County repair storm damage from the June hail storm. This money is for damage on public property.
The majority of this damage occurred at the National Sports Center in Blaine. Buildings at the National Sports Center have severely damaged roofs from the storm. This state authorization will pay for approximately 75 percent of the total storm damage related costs.
