“We weren’t necessarily the favorite, so we wanted to make sure we did everything we possibly could to put our best foot forward,” said Sinclair. “Like, be as prepared as we could, and at the end of the week have no regrets.” The euphoria of winning was hard to describe, but Sinclair knew that all the hard work had finally paid off.
The team will now compete in the end of season Champions Cup and has their sights set on the 2018 Olympics.
“That’s our goal, to be in the trials, and to win those hopefully be the team that is going to go on to the Olympics in February.”
In addition a team skipped by Todd Birr took home a silver medal and Cassie Potter and her team captured a bronze.
