BLAINE, Minn.- (June 7, 2018)- The beach, splash pad, and boathouse are officially open for the summer at Lakeside Commons Park in Blaine. The park amenities opened on June 1 and will close on Sept.3. The beach and splash pad open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the boathouse is opens its doors at 11 a.m. and closes them at 5 p.m. Other features include beach house, boathouse with concessions, canoe and kayak rental, playground, volleyball court, and a rentable picnic pavilion.
Parking permits are required for all cars in the lot and are available onsite. Blaine residents park for free with proof of residency, and non-residents are charged $5 per day or $25 for a season-long parking pass. Lakeside Commons Park is located in The Lakes development on Lakes Parkway off of Radisson Road.
