CIRCLE PINES, Minn. – (June 8, 2017) – Now that summer is here, some cities are using a rotating sprinkling ban to limit water usage and to make sure that the city’s water supply stays fully stocked.
Each city creates their own policy on lawn sprinkling and several of the policies may change during the summer, depending on precipitation and weather conditions. For example, as of June 1st in Circle Pines, no one can water their lawns between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
In addition to that, you may only water your lawn on odd numbered days if your address ends in an odd number and you can only water your lawn on even numbered days if you address ends in an even number.
It can be a little confusing, so, before you set up your lawn sprinkler, check with your local city hall about days and times that sprinkling is allowed.
