BLAINE, Minn. – The 3M Championship is just weeks away, and soon some of the finest senior golfers in the world will be in Blaine to compete. But this year, in addition to watching these great golfers play the game, two lucky fans will also get the opportunity to play a round of golf with Fuzzy Zoeller.
“This is the first time we’ve done a contest like this,” says Assistant Tournament Director Jennifer Hines.
This is part of one of four different pro-ams that will be played in the week leading up to competitive play. Spots on pro-am are typically sold to individuals or included in major sponsorship packages. But to golf with Fuzzy you don’t need to be a part of a major sponsor, you just need a little luck.
“Fuzzy’s one of the best known names in golf,” adds Hines.
Two contest entrants will win the opportunity to golf with Fuzzy in the pro-am, and with that comes the VIP treatment, including VIP Parking, dining with players, and a custom set of Callaway irons. But, even for those who don’t win this contest, they can still enjoy the free golf tournament that’s family friendly. For the fourth year in a row, all tickets will be completely free.
The tournament will also be debuting a new mobile app this summer for tournament attendees that will include comprehensive information about the course and the tournament.
