ANOKA, Minn. (May 11, 2017) – The Anoka-Hennepin School Board is planning a referendum vote this fall to address facility needs throughout the district. They hope to build two new elementary schools, one in Blaine and another in Ramsey and put additions on each of the district’s five traditional high schools.
They also want to make general upgrades on existing elementary and middle schools focusing on science classrooms and library media centers. The next step in the process is introducing the plan to district residents through a series of community meetings. The meetings will be open house style. Each meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. with a short presentation at 6:35 p.m. For more information about the Anoka-Hennepin Fit for the Future referendum click here.
