SPRING LAKE PARK MAN BUILDS REPLICA WATER TOWER

In honor of the country’s bicentennial, Spring Lake Park painted the city’s water tower in 1976 in the recognizable red, white, and blue. The city liked it so much that the water tower became part of the city logo, and is the namesake for the city’s festival. One local man liked the water tower so much, he decided to build a replica of it in his yard.
