BLAINE, Minn. – (July 23, 2015) – This week, a new senior living community in Blaine celebrated a groundbreaking on their new site. Crest View Senior Community will open a 152-unit complex next year, with a variety of housing options.
“Our primary mission is to serve this county and to serve it well,” says Shirley Barnes, CEO of Crest View Senior Communities.
The Blaine location will have 66 senior housing apartments, 51 assisted living apartments, 23 memory care units and 11 enhanced memory care apartments.
Barnes adds, “So with this being a campus and a continuum, this will provide an opportunity for people to be able to remain in the community and not only people who have lived here, but also adult children who want their parents to be near them.”
They are eager to open their doors as the only senior living facility in Blaine, and help bring more jobs to Blaine in the process.
“We will be creating over 50 jobs in this area, so we not only provide services to older adults, but we drive economic development and offer opportunities to the workforce,” says Barnes.
Crest View Senior Community plans to open next fall.
