COVID-19 UPDATE –
Barring further extensions of the Stay at Home Order, North Metro TV intends to open to the public on June 1, with some restrictions.
Do It Yourself Home Movie Transfers will be available by appointment only. Hours will be 1pm – 8:30pm Monday through Thursday. The DIY service is only available with tape based media. We are still happy to transfer your movies for you. Pick-ups and drop-offs will be conducted curbside only. Appointments are necessary to drop-off or pick-up your videos. Final payment must be made online or over the phone. Appointments may not be available with fewer than 24 hours’ notice.
Protective Gear – North Metro TV Staff will wear masks and gloves when serving the public at all times. The public must also wear masks and gloves while using the facility. Masks must cover both the mouth and nose at all times. NMTV will endeavor to provide masks and gloves for as long as possible, but we encourage members of the public to bring their own.
Social Distancing – North Metro TV Staff and members of the public must observe social distancing while using the facility and keep a distance of at least six feet from each other.
Call 763-231-2803 or e-mail email@example.com to make an appointment.
Are you tired of having your home movies only available on VHS tape or cumbersome film reels? Would you like to transfer these home movies to DVD and even make copies of these DVDs to share with your friends and family? Then NMTV is the place for you!
North Metro TV is proud to offer Home Movie to DVD Transfer and DVD Duplication Services to members of our community. Select from these options to get started!
These rules apply equally to DIY and Staff Transfer Clients.
We can only transfer home movies or other material for which you own the copyright. We cannot copy Hollywood movies or TV shows bought from the store or recorded from TV.
You may not transfer (or have us transfer) obscene or pornographic material.
Original film, tapes, and DVDs will be held by NMTV until all fees are paid in full.
NMTV is not responsible for any damage that may come to tapes or films during normal playback, such as (but not limited to) tapes or films snapping or melting. Please note, film breaks are especially common in 8mm, Super 8mm, and 16mm films.
NMTV will not attempt to transfer or allow you to transfer any film which because of its physical condition may damage our equipment.
For Staff Transfer Clients, we will work with you to determine an approximate length for the material you are submitting when you drop off your originals. The final amount due may increase or decrease depending on the actual length of the film. For billing purposes, we will always round up to the next hour.
If, for whatever reason, NMTV is not able to transfer a portion of your home movies, the originals will be promptly returned and fees will be adjusted accordingly.
