In order to offer these services, NMTV keeps a large stock of obsolete media players that are often hard to find. If you have some old video or film equipment that you would like to get rid of, you can bring it to the station and – if we can use it – we will offer you a discount from your transfer order in trade.
THINGS WE NEED
Projectors – We can always use film projectors, particular 8mm projectors. We would typically offer $20 – $30 in trade for common, working projectors.
Hi8 tape decks and cameras – Our Hi8 tape deck is currently broken, so we need a new one! We would offer $20 in trade for a working Hi8 camera and $40 in trade for a working Hi8 video deck.
VHSC Adapters – We can always use adapters that let you play VHSC tapes in a standard VCR. We offer $5 in trade for working adapters.
THINGS WE DON’T NEED
VCRs – Sorry, but we currently have plenty of VCRs.
