NEW FIRE DISPATCH SYSTEM WORKED WELL IN FLEET FARM FIRE
A new system that dispatches fire trucks and other critical resources to emergencies worked well during a large fire in Blaine on February 17. When part of the outdoor yard at the Fleet Farm store on Lexington Avenue caught fire, the system helped bring more firefighters quickly.
HAM LAKE CONSIDERS STRICTER CATALYTIC CONVERTER PENALTIES
Ham Lake is the first city in the area to consider an ordinance to crack down on catalytic converter thefts. The new ordinance would make it illegal to possess a converter without proof of ownership.
