A former jewelry store on Main Street in Anoka has become a Veterans Counseling Service Center. The center moved to a Anoka from Brooklyn Park and offers help for a long list of issues.

Nearly 9500 senior citizens in Minnesota are getting the COVID vaccine at community sites across the state in the latest round of vaccinations.  The National Sports Center in Blaine is one of those nine sites.

FORMER VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER CHARGED WITH SHOOTING AT CENTENNIAL LAKES PD

Police arrested 51 year old Donald Guse of Shoreview.  He faces multiple charges including drive-by shooting, reckless discharge of a firearm, and fleeing an officer. The criminal complaint says officers found a scoped shotgun in the back seat.

METRO TRANSIT POSSIBLY CONSIDERING RAPID BUS ROUTE CONNECTING BLAINE TO DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS

Metro Transit currently has a survey in the field through January 20 to gauge which routes it should prioritize in the coming years.
