A Florida woman was arrested in Anoka county for allegedly stealing the identity of eight different people.

The public has been invited to attend two meetings to learn more about the search for a new superintendent for the Anoka-Hennepin School District.

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. During the month of November, the Minnesota Department of Health is encouraging all Minnesotans to test radon levels in their homes. Radioactive radon gas is the number one environmental cause of cancer deaths and the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers.

Blaine will be home to a new urgent care facility run by Fairview Health Services. Opening in 2014, Fairview Emergent Care will be a 11,000-square-foot medical center at the intersection of 35W and Lexington Avenue.

A new Highway 65 express coach bus will beginning in August 2014. The morning and evening rush hour service will begin its route in northern East Bethel, and make stops in Ham Lake and Blaine on its way to downtown Minneapolis.
