The SBM Fire Department is currently looking for new, enthusiastic volunteers looking to join the department and make a difference in the community.

The Chick-fil-A in Coon Rapids opened to much fanfare on Thursday, Oct. 10. The first 100 fans were eligible for free Chick-fil-A for the following year. Eager fans camped out in the parking lot more than 24 hours in advance.

Several suspicious fires in Andover earlier this week are leading authorities to ask for the public’s help as they search for a potential arsonist.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz is accepting bicycle donations this coming Saturday, Oct. 12 between the hours of 9 a.m. -2 p.m. for local kids in need.

Shots ran out through a Columbia Heights neighborhood last week, injuring a woman and leaving police searching for answers. Police are currently asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the two men involved in the attack.
