WORK BEGINS ON NEW MARY ANN YOUNG SENIOR CENTER

Work has begun on the new senior center in Blaine.The city broke ground on what will be an expanded facility for the Mary Ann Young Senior center.

Police in Blaine will collect prescription drugs that you may no longer need and don’t know how to dispose of properly.

TEEN APPOINTED ADJUNCT BOARD MEMBER

Each April, Blaine’s boards and commissions welcome new members. Community members can apply and interview for the open positions. This year, the city had a first. A 17-year-old senior at Blaine High School applied to join them. And in a non-traditional way, the city found a way to make it happen.

BLAINE STUDENT NAMED USA TODAY’S HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE YEAR

A Blaine high school hockey player is number one in the nation, according to USA today. The newspaper named Bryce Brodzinski its 2019 all USA boys hockey player of the year.
