Fire safety leaders are traveling across Minnesota to warn about the dangers of increased fire risk this month due to holiday decorations.

LEXINGTON AND BLAINE LEADERS DISAGREE OVER INTERCONNECTED WATER SYSTEM’S FUTURE

According to leaders in both cities, Blaine and Lexington entered into an agreement in 1977 to use an interconnected water system. Lexington’s smaller well would only be used in the summer months, when demand for service is higher. Now that Blaine has spent millions of dollars to upgrade its water and treatment facilities, it wants Lexington to be metered, as well.

LINO LAKES APPROVES NEW NAME, LOGO, AND FITNESS CENTER PARTNER

The building will now be known as The Rookery Activity center after action from the city council to approve the logo and the name. They are key steps in marketing the facility that’s been closed since March of 2020.
