A popular Blaine business is getting ready to turn to solar energy. Invictus Brewing always planned to go solar, and now three years after opening, they are getting ready to flip the switch on the new system.

BLAINE MAKES MORE THAN $1M ON WETLAND BANK CREDITS

In July, the City of Blaine voted to sell city-owned land to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety for $1. Now, the city has made more than $1,000,000 from that $1 sale – thanks to wetland bank credits.

After reviewing pay elsewhere in the metro, the city council increased the starting wage from $10.50 to $15.00. After 20 years of service, pay would reach $18.29.
