Dining rooms have been closed since before Thanksgiving because of a spike in COVID infection rates. Even with an operating limit of 50 percent, local restaurant owners were happy to get back to work.

Hard hit restaurants, bars and gyms that had to close or continue to operate at less than full capacity are at the top of the priority list. Those with 20 employees or more may get up to $15,000. Businesses with 21 to 100 employees could be eligible for up to $25,000.

DANCE STUDIOS AMONG BUSINESSES ALLOWED TO RE-OPEN

Dance studios are among the businesses that were allowed to re-open at 25 percent capacity the first week of January. The Governor’s order allows restaurants and bars to open at 50 percent capacity beginning January 11.
