North Metro TV is proud to present the MN Media Archive, a collection of vintage film and video programs from across the great state of Minnesota! Check out some of the great videos in our collection on our YouTube page. New videos are posted at least once a week!
The Archive exists to showcase and preserve our great media heritage. But we can’t do it without your help.
Are you a MN city, school, or someone else with video you’d like to see posted to the Archive? We’d love to have it! Please e-mail eric@northmetrotv.com or call 763-231-2803. Don’t worry about what format your video is in; we can easily digitize any video tape or film reel. Audio tape is welcome, too!
Unfortunately, running the Archive does cost us a fair amount of time and effort. To support our cause, we charge $15 per tape (and $5 per film reel – up to 50 feet) to digitize your video and host it on the Archive. Bulk discounts are available. We can even provide DVD or digital copies for your own records for an additional $5 per file or disc. Please note, this is a special rate for cities, schools, non-profits and other governmental entities who are contributing the MN Media Archive. For personal home movie transfer rates, please visit northmetrotv.com/transfer.
Do you have some video you want digitized, but don’t want to put it on the Archive? Maybe you want it for your own records or to put on your own city, school, or personal website. No problem! We can help with that, too! The e-mail and phone number are the same: eric@northmetrotv.com or 763-231-2803. This fee is $25 per tape and includes a digital copy and a DVD hard copy.
