BLAINE, Minn – (June 14, 2018) – The two year reconstruction of 105th Avenue in Blaine is getting closer to completion. This week the contractor completed the paving of the bituminous trail along the north side of 105th Avenue from Radisson Road to Davenport Street.
They also installed the concrete sidewalk from Davenport Street to Highway 65. Next week will be a big week for the project as traffic will be split with one lane of traffic moving on each side of the new road. This will be the first time since before the project the traffic will flow on both sides of the road.
Next week the contractor will also be starting on the restoration of the boulevards on the north side of the street. The entire project is expected to be completed in less than a month.
