BLAINE, Minn. – (Nov. 16, 2017) – The reconstruction of 105th Avenue is moving along and at this point, the project is ahead of schedule.
To date, the contractor has constructed the east bound lanes and will finish the trails and sidewalk on the south side of the street yet this fall.
In early November, traffic was switched to the newly constructed lanes for the remainder of this construction season and it will remain that way until the project is completed.
If the good construction weather continues, the contractor will replace the water main along the north side of the project and remove most of the existing west bound lanes.
If all goes well, the roadway should be ready for curb and gutter first thing in the spring. The project is schedule to be completed no later than July 2018.
