ANOKA, Minn. – (Dec. 5, 2013) –Kevin Casserly was reported missing on Nov. 17 and was last seen on Nov. 12. The 22 year old was working as a temp through Atlas Staffing was most recently working at Lakeland Tool in Anoka.
Casserly reportedly called his mother on Nov. 11 to say that he had the flu and was staying home from work. When she went to check on him the next day, she found the door to his apartment slightly ajar and everything intact, but Casserly was no where to be found. Casserly’s car was found not far from his apartment.
Casserly does have a criminal history with four felony convictions including assaulting a police officer. Casserly also has a history of drug use, but his family said he was clean and changing his ways because of his two young children.
The Anoka Police Department and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are running a joint investigation into Casserly’s disappearance and at this time, the family has said all organized searches are for Casserly’s body, not evidence.
Casserly is white, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 6’1” tall, weighs 140 to 160 pounds and has a chipped front tooth. He often wears a baseball hat with a silver chain. Authorities are asking that anyone with information about Kevin Casserly please call the sheriff’s office at 763-427-1212.
