BLAINE, Minn. – Monday signals the beginning of the 3M Championship – the annual PGA Champions Tour stop in Blaine. Pro-Ams and practice rounds will take place Monday through Thursday, with the first round of Championship Play starting on Friday, and continuing on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday will also feature the Greats of Golf Challenge, which is a tournament within the tournament. Some of the golfers participating in the Greats Challenge are Fuzzy Zoeller, Lee Trevino, and Johnny Miller. Also this year, there will be a women’s team competing the Greats challenge featuring Annika Sorenstam, Nancy Lopez and Pat Bradley.
Once again this year, general admission to the entire tournament will be free. If you go, general parking is at the Anoka County Airport, at the Key Air entrance. Parking and shuttle service are both free.
If you’d like upgraded tickets or parking, those are available for purchase as well. Ticket packages range from clubhouse access, to a week of box seating on the 18th green, with complimentary food, beverage, and preferred parking.
