ST. PAUL, Minn. – (Aug. 27, 2015) – This year marks the tenth year that Minnesota students have been recognized for having some of the top scores in the nation on the ACT – having an average score of 22.7. Not only are the scores higher than many other states, but more Minnesotan students are taking the test as well. 78 percent of Minnesotan students took the ACT compared to only 59 percent of students nationally. The Department of Education says that these numbers demonstrate the growing understanding of the importance of striving for a postsecondary education.
