(BLAINE) – All of the major school districts serving our part of Anoka County will switch totally to distance learning models by the end of the month because of steadily rising COVID-19 infection rates.
Anoka-Hennepin schools will transition to all distance learning for elementary students by November 30, the first day back after the Thanksgiving break. Some additional days off will be scheduled between now and then to allow teachers and staff time to prepare.
Centennial and Spring Lake Park Schools will do something very similar. All three districts already have middle and high schools in distance learning models.
Forest Lake Schools, which operates Lino Lakes Elementary, moved high school students to distance learning but will keep elementary and middle school students in a hybrid model for now.
