Ghost Tours are back in Anoka, the tour is a mile-long walk from the Anoka County Historical Society building that brings residents to paranormal hotspots. The event runs from the middle of September to October 31.
“The home owners and business owners came here to research their places, little by little people were asking about their place because weird things were happening. We wrote those down and made this tour,” said Sara Given, Volunteer Coordinator and Ghost Tour Guide. “I love all of the stories because they are connected to our community. Ghosts live with the people,”
The Ghost Tour is a fundraiser that helps fund the facility and future exhibits.
“The ghost tour tickets go directly to help the historical society keep the lights on. It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said Sara Given.
