MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – (May 26, 2016) – After several days of searching, authorities have found and arrested a man accused of multiple burglaries and a sexual assault. Last weekend, a man police believe is Jarid Troy Alan Jovanovich broke into four different homes in Columbia Heights and one in St. Anthony. He was identified by home surveillance video.
Several items were stolen from the homes, and Jovanovich is also believed to have assaulted a 9-year-old girl in one of the homes. He was found in Minneapolis this week, and attempted to flee from police before his capture. He had an active warrant out for him and has already been charged in connection with the St. Anthony break in.
