ANOKA, Minn. – How would you like to save some money on your prescriptions? Well, coming soon in your mailbox will be a prescription discount card from Anoka County through a partnership with ProAct, Inc.
The card provides discounts up to 20 percent on brand name medications and up to 50 percent discounts on generic medications. Residents can also save on everything from pet prescriptions to laser eye surgery. The discount card is specifically for residents who do not have prescription drug coverage, and cannot be used with another insurance carrier.
All Anoka County residents, regardless of age or income can use the card. To use the card, simply present the card to a participating pharmacy along with a new prescription or refill to get the savings. One discount card may be used for all family members and can also be used for discounts on pet medications and other medical-related services.
There are no enrollment forms, membership fees, or income requirements.
