ANOKA, Minn. (Nov. 7, 2013) — The public has been invited to attend two meetings to learn more about the search for a new superintendent for the Anoka-Hennepin School District.
The district is searching for someone to replace current Superintendent Dennis Carlson who recently announced that he will retire at the end of the school year.
The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m., at the Educational Service Center and the second one will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy.
The recruitment process will go through the end of January with interviews being conducted in February. Finalists will be invited to an all day interview that will include forums open to staff, students and the community.
Residents are also invited to take part in an online survey regarding the search which will be available through Nov. 18.
