(BLAINE) – Area schools will once again participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Summer Food Service Program.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to all children ages 1-18.
The program is available from the USDA and is based on the number of students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
The program’s purpose is to make meals available to area children who may otherwise not eat properly or often enough.
Some locations serve breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, while others only serve one of the meals or may not serve every day of the week.
