Area Schools Provide Meals Over Summer

ANOKA COUNTY, Minn. – As the school year comes to a close, some children wonder where their daily summer meals will come from. The Anoka-Hennepin, Spring Lake Park, and Centennial School Districts are participating in the Summer Food Service program supported by the US Department of Agriculture.
At more than 15 different schools across the area, students ages two to 18 can receive free breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday throughout the summer. Adults can purchase discounted meals for $2-$4. All children are welcome at any site regardless of whether or not they attend school at the host location.
