BLAINE, Minn. – (March 23, 2017) – On Tuesday morning, Blaine Police officers received a call of an armed robbery that had just taken place at the Super USA gas station located near Blainebrook Bowl. Amanuel Ebba is a former employee at the station and has been charged with felony aggravated robbery in the first degree. According to the criminal complaint, Ebba stole cash, cigarettes, tobacco and pipes.
The store owner identified Ebba as the robber and Blaine police quickly apprehended him at his home. A search of Ebba car found many of the items reported as stolen. Ebba also had large amounts of cash hidden in his underwear when he was arrested.
