RAMSEY, Minn. – (Oct. 29, 2015) – The new interchange at Highway 10 and Armstrong Boulevard in Ramsey was supposed to be open to traffic this week. However, the project is weeks behind schedule with the bridge and ramps still needing to be completed.
The contractor has estimated the interchange will open three weeks late, with a new target date of November 20.
The delay is not being taken lightly by Anoka County officials. The construction company will pay a $10,000per day penalty until the project is completed.
This project is the first in a series of construction projects to be completed over the next several years to increase the efficiency and safety of Highway 10 through Ramsey and Anoka.
