LINO LAKES, Minn. – A Minneapolis man recently arrested for allegedly trying to steal more than $700 worth of merchandise from the Lino Lakes Target. Employees notified police when they saw Todd Alan Tilbury, 47, taking a Bose Sound System from the store without paying for it.
In addition to the sound system, Tilbury also had a twelve pack of soda, toilet paper, and plastic cups in his cart. Officers approached Tilbury in the parking lot, and asked him if he had a receipt. He admitted that he did not. Officers also asked if he had paid for any of the items in his car, and Tilbury confirmed that all of the items were stolen.
He was previously convicted of burglary in the third degree in 2009.
