ANOKA, Minn. (August 8, 2013) — Local law enforcement agencies are combining their efforts to save people’s lives through donating blood. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with Memorial Blood Center for the ‘Battle of the Badges’ blood drive competition. This will be held all in good fun to see which public safety agency in the greater metro area can produce the most blood donations.
The community-involved blood drive event will be held on Thursday, August 15, from 1 – 5 p.m. It will be held at the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office. You can do your part by inviting your family members and friends to this community-wide celebration of life.
