BLAINE, Minn. – One of Blaine’s most popular parks is just about ready to open for the season. The beach at Lakeside Commons Park will open for the summer on June 7.
The park amenities include a public beach, splash pad, beach house, boathouse with concessions and canoe, kayak, and new paddle boat rental, playground, volleyball court, and a picnic pavilion.
And just a reminder, parking permits are once again required for all park users. Permits are free for Blaine residents, and cost either $5 per day, or $25 for a season pass for non-residents.
You can get your permit starting on June 7 at either Blaine City Hall or right at Lakeside Commons Park. The park is located off of Radisson Road and Lakes Parkway east just three quarters of a mile.
