EAST BETHEL, Minn. – (Dec. 6, 2019) – One Anoka County family will get a merrier Christmas thanks to a nonprofit that is partnering with a local bank.
Best Christmas Ever, along with Village Bank, is helping families that are going through tough times. The nonprofit is giving one local family in Anoka County a Christmas specific to its needs. Bank managers say they’re happy to help.
“We thought it would be a great fit for our organization. We’re a community bank, so we’re all about getting involved community and helping out in different ways,” said Sarah Schake, Social Media Coordinator for Village Bank and Best Christmas Ever team captain. “We have the giving tree set up at all four of our Village Bank branches with gift tags on the tree listing different gift items that the family specifically needs.”
The bank will also accept monetary donations through December 12th.
