BLAINE, Minn. – (May 10, 2016) – DaVinci Academy of Arts and Sciences in Blaine is looking to move to Ham Lake to fix their current size constraints. The school will break ground on a new campus next month on Bunker Lake Boulevard and Jefferson Street. The 34,250 square-feet building in Blaine with 430 students began with approximately 160 students when the charter school opened in 2008.
Now it is too small to meet up with demand as their is a waiting list of nearly 250 students. The new three-story building will have 104,000 square-feet of space and is only two miles from the current campus. The intention is the new location will be open for the 2017-2018 school year.
