BLAINE, Minn. – (June 8, 2017) – The Metropolitan Council released data this week that shows continued strong residential development in the region.
2016 saw the highest total of new housing units permitted since 2009. Blaine has consistently shown up in the top of these annual rankings and that was no different this year. Blaine had the third highest amount of new residential building permits last year. Blaine also made the top then in permits for multifamily units.
