A restaurant can not have more than 50 outdoor dining seats in the policy, and the policy is set to expire in October.
Like many other cities in the area, the Blaine council also voted to pro-rate liquor licenses for businesses that have not been able use those licenses during the shutdown. The council passed a 20 percent reduction in license renewals for the upcoming year that begins on July 1.
