BLAINE, Minn. – (April 21, 2020) – An major local event has announced its cancellation. This week, the Blaine Festival announced that the weekend-long event would not happen this year.
Announced on their website and Facebook, the post said, “Due to the current & ongoing social distancing due to the C-19 Pandemic, the Blaine Festival Volunteer Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Blaine Festival. The health and safety of our attendees, volunteers, vendors and committee members is our primary concern.”
The festival dates for 2021 were released, and the festival will remain the last weekend of June.
