BLAINE, Minn. – (Dec. 13, 2018) – Blaine’s professional golf tournament raked in two big awards from the PGA.
At its tournament meetings in Florida earlier this month, PGA tour champions awarded the, “Outstanding Achievement Award” to 3M Championship Director Jennifer Hines and the “Bruno award” to 3M for its sponsorship of the tournament each year.
Hines got credit for hosting 2,000 golfers and helping to hand out more than $25 million to charities in Blaine over her years as tournament director.
The PGA recognized 3M for its contributions over 25 years. This year, the 3M open will be the first regular PGA tour stop in the Twin Cities in 50 years.
