BLAINE, Minn. – Each year, the city of Blaine holds a summer concert series. Their first Performance in the Park is this Saturday, June 8 from 1-4 pm.
There will be a number of bands and performers that will contribute to the festivities. Throughout the summer the series will continue and include music like jazz, bluegrass, big band, polka, and an Elvis tribute.
There will also be several non-musical acts including, dance, the Minnesota Zoo Zoomobile and a yo-yo show. The performance series runs through mid-August. All shows are free, and are held at either Town Square Park, adjacent to City Hall, or Aquatore Park.
