HAM LAKE, Minn. – (Feb. 22, 2018) – A three vehicle crash in Ham Lake left one person dead and three others injured. On Monday evening, 2 vehicles driving on Lexington Avenue were involved in a head on collision. One vehicle was occupied by a single driver and another by a mother and her two children. The single driver, Victor John Karanja Ndau from Blaine, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mother, Danielle Lynne Eakman of Ham Lake, was transported to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids where at last report she was listed in serious but stable condition. One of the children was transferred to Minneapolis Children’s Hospital in serious condition and the other child had only minor injuries.
A third vehicle stuck the other two vehicles after the initial crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
