(BLAINE) – The City of Blaine now offers a website for residents and business owners to find information about how the city spends its money.
OpenBlaine is a project more than two years in the making. City leaders worked with Open Gov to develop first an internal portal for information that department heads could share and then for an external site that provides answers, context, and real-time data for publication on the internet.
Open Blaine is a chance to look at spending by department, with information that is updated on a continual basis.
“It’s very intuitive,” said Huss. “You can’t break it.”
