BLAINE, Minn. (September 5, 2013) –Blaine was recently recognized as the fastest growing suburb in the metro area over the last three years; now, the city has achieved yet another population milestone.
New population figures released by the Metropolitan Council announced that Blaine has officially reached a population of 60,199. Blaine has added more than 1600 new households within the past five years, which represents an additional $400 million in tax base.
The new population estimate ranks Blaine as the ninth largest suburb in the seven-county metro area.
