(BLAINE, Minn.) –Chick-fil-A customers may find a new reason to buy the restaurant’s chocolate chip cookies this holiday season in Blaine.
The Northtown location is donating half of its proceeds from cookie sales in November and December to Feed My Starving Children in Anoka County.
“It’s really exciting,” said Director of Sales and Brand Growth Collin Christenberry. “It’s the first kind of official community partnership we’ve been able to have with a large organization that’s well-known.”
Christenberry said through November, the store’s donations have helped Feed My Starving Children provide 11,000 meals.
“Just the response has been incredible–well over what we could have even imagined,” he said.
Chick-fil-A opened its Coon Rapids and Northtown locations within recent years.
“Our main goal is to be able to steward our resources well and to influence everyone we come in contact with,” said Christenberry. “We want to inspire people to be able to take care of each other.”
