(BLAINE – June 30, 2022) DoorDash recently released its Top 100 Most Loved All Stars List which included Blaine restaurant Song Tea and Poke. The Blaine restaurant joins 100 restaurants across the nation, chosen by DoorDash for their reliability and service.
On June 13, DoorDash released a list containing its Top 100 Most Loved All Star restaurants. The restaurants chosen for this list were chosen based upon a few factors, the restaurants have a high customer rating and also are reliable and must exemplify great service, less than one percent of all restaurants qualified.
The three owners, Zhiua Yu, Yin Lau, and Wenling Chen, were excited when they heard that they would be joining the top restaurants in the nation. Song Tea and Poke opened in November 2020, and the owners have expanded the franchise into four other locations in Minnesota.
“We three were on vacation when we heard and we were like yes!” said Zhiua Yu.
Other than being excited, the owners felt proud that they were able to be apart of a top 100 list.
“We’ve been working so hard for it and yeah I’m very proud,” said Yin Lau.
The trio opened Song Tea and Poke during the COVID-19 pandemic and opened four other locations in Plymouth, Savage, Hastings and St. Louis Park. The owners attributed a lot of their success to DoorDash.
“People are more often on the tablet, instead of checking out the city. Digital marketing is part of our marketing here so we also wanted people to know we do walk in and deliver. Instead of hiring people to do deliveries we are happy to let others do that service for us,” said Yin Lau.
