BLAINE, Minn. – (June 1, 2017) – Blaine has grown a lot in the last two decades, and today, Blaine has a total market value of over $6 billion.
This amounts to one fifth of all property value for Anoka County. In 2016, Blaine accounted for 33 percent of new single family housing construction in Anoka County and 44 percent of new commercial and industrial construction.
Blaine says that the growth in high-paying technical jobs in the city, along with the growth of medical facilities has led to increased growth in housing, commercial, industrial, retail, and dining opportunities.
