BLAINE, Minn. – (April 28, 2016) – Last summer, Arteisha Love of Blaine was in a physical altercation with her boyfriend. The altercation left her missing a tooth and left her boyfriend dead from a fatal stab wound.
This week Love pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and will receive a six year sentence. Love initially tried to deny involvement in the death of her boyfriend. She had her daughter clean up the blood with a mop and get rid of the knife.
After an hour her brother called 911. Love has said that she was in an abusive relationship and did not mean to kill her boyfriend.
